A paraphrasing tool lets you easily perform tasks regarding to writing, such as:
- Correct grammar and writing errors
- Help phrase sentences in different ways through selecting part of the text and then picking between suggestions
- Helps you achieve certain tone and style
This is different to LLMs that let you chat as you first and foremost can get done with the process easier and secondly the UI should let you click on certain parts of the text to change it out with different writing suggestions.
This would be a dedicated page that could be called "Kagi Write" or "Kagi Paraphrasing"
As someone with dyslexia and autism, I often find myself in need of a paraphrasing tool that helps me properly phrase sentences in ways that people can understand better with proper grammar and without any mistakes. Oftentimes, I cannot tell what tone I am using, and I feel like a paraphrasing tool has helped me a lot in the past. Paraphrasing tools let you easily choose and pick different tones and styles and help you find other ways of phrasing your sentences.
Right now, considering Kagi just launched a translate tool, this would let Kagi directly compete with DeepL, a company that I am not too fond of paying due to their lack of improvements over the years.
