I think the Safe Search setting only as account setting is not ideal. I usually am ok with Safe Search but sometimes I need to turn it off for a specific search. Changing the account setting for this one search is tedious. My proposal is:
- Keep the current Safe Search setting as default
- Allow this to be overridden for each search (add an option to the search results screen)
This is how Duckduckgo works and I think this works well.
