The capability of fetching search results (both visual and textual) using an image as a search query instead of text. Similar to Google Lens.

I saw a nice shirt and would like to find a similar one on an ecommerce website.

I'm reading some intetesting article and would like to picture some term instead of copying it.

isn't that already possible? using the button when you're in image search, like google images:

Thibaultmol It's technically possible, but not close to what google lens offer. Using google Lens you can search a specific product by taking a picture of it, I guess they use both the image itself as well as the embedded text (extracted using ocr) to bring the most relevant pictures.

With Google Lens you can also copy text (OCR), or decode QR codes.
