I use the Orion browser and I can create a new tab with cmd-T. Safari normally puts the cursor into the address bar so I can immediately start typing a search or an address. Orion doesn’t put the cursor anywhere, which requires me to move my hand to the mouse to position my cursor in the address bar.
A user would simply open a new tab with the keyboard, such as pressing cmd-T. The new tab opens, but the cursor isn’t on the page. If it was in the address bar immediately, then we could immediately start typing.
