This is an inquiry about the feasibility of integrations with self-hosted meta-search engines, such as:
I would like to submit a feature request to websurfx to add support for Kagi, but at this point in time, the Kagi Search API is invite-only. I'm unsure if this is a roadblocker for these types of projects.
At this time, there is a Session Link available for accessing Kagi from multiple clients, like the Kagi browser extension and default search engine setting. This works!
Would the Session Link be enough to have my Kagi searches go through websurfx, or would the (unavailable) Search API be necessary for this?
I like very much the search interface provided by Kagi.com, but I have some private self-hosted applications that can be indexed by these meta-search engines, so I would like Kagi to be part of those results.
