I would like to join on OPs request to add support for alternative frontends.
My context: I've been Kagi user for multiple years, now I've switched to Family plan to provide access to close relatives, as I believe that search engine is still an important tool.
My take: there are growing concerns in censorship globally, and while Kagi is still under the radar of many such initiatives, it just a matter of (hopefully long) time. Its important to have multiple ways to circumvent at least simple mechanisms, such as DNS, IP filtering. Typical way is setting up VPNs, mirrors and proxies.
Current situation: I know about API, and its possible to use it with custom FE solution, and its certainly a way. But the practical cost is making it out of reach for the most of individual users under family plans. I understand that combating censorship is not something of the company's top priority, and there are certain downsides of implementing such solutions, resource and even quality wise.
I would appreciate if the team would take this case to the discussion at some point. Thanks!
NB: I've tried to find more relevant topic, but from the quick search I could not. Apologies if its not the right one.
