It would be neat if the Kagi app supported native searching in Android. The only app I've seen that supports this is Firefox (and Tor Browser, based on Firefox) - other than Google's official assistant app.
This is an example of using this feature - when switching apps, android supports searching for arbitrary text using on-device OCR. I currently have Firefox set as the native search provider.
This is one of many integration points on Android. Of course, Google assumes all users search using Google.
