Kagi should implement a bang shortcut for searching an image URL via reverse image search. This will significantly increase efficiency of using this feature.
Currently, if I have a URL of an image if I'd like to search using Kagi's reverse image search functionality, it requires several steps:
- Focus address bar
- Submit
!i to get to Kagi Images
- After the page loads, click the camera icon
- Click URL text field
- Paste the URL and hit enter.
With a bang, all mouse usage requirements are eliminated, and initiating the search takes half the time:
- Focus address bar
- Type the bang shortcut (e.g.
!kri or !ri)
- Paste the URL and hit enter.
