I am living in the US / Northern California and wanted to look up an address in Berlin, Germany (specifically "Kluckstraße 36, 10785 Berlin") and for some reason Kagi maps (either by just searching for the address and then using the 'Maps' link underneath the search field in the results.. or just using the !m bang) shows an address nearby-ish here in the US and the links onwards in that map view (so Google / Apple maps etc) also point to that incorrect address/location.. not to the address I was looking for entering.
That address DOES exist, see i.e. Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/mmQU5mV7aMsVWvX77 yet I get this:
That result is clearly related to my (IP's) geolocation but nevertheless.. it's confusing that it doesn't resolve the address and also that the way Kagi displays that result (not indicating it i.e. couldn't locate the query/address) and quasi 'redirects/falsifies' my actual input to the onwards links to external/other services is.. also not useful.
Either way, something's off here - that address exists and Kagi returns a seemingly random, yet incorrect result unfortunately.
1.) Display the actual address
2.) The links in the kagi result / -map view should also link to the actual address
2.5) If Kagi / its underlying geolocation service cannot resolve the input, it should indicate so & not pick/show a random yet (in my case vastly) incorrect result
Thanks!
