Free Kagi with ads

PLEASE ADD A FREE KAGI THAT HAS ADS, SO YOU STILL MAKE MONEY.

I am a student who would love to use Kagi but can't afford the price. The lens feature and blocking of some sites is great and would help me heaps. But I can't afford the higher tier prices because I search so much.

someone who can't afford premium searches like normal, but is ok with an occasional ad.

AshtonSchneider Ads ruin everything and one of the reasons Kagi is so good is that it does not need to have ads to monetize, soNofix.

That will not happen as adding ads goes against everything Kagi stands for, and it would compromise many users' trust in the product.

Another problem with this would be that ads only make search engines profitable if they are tailored to the user's search query, which would destroy Kagi's privacy promise

As a PhD student I certainly would appreciate a student discount! But frankly the Ultimate tier has saved me so much time through access to multiple top-tier LLMs, along with a web search that actually gives relevant results, I'm planning to demo it to some of my research colleagues. If it saves me even an hour of work a month, it pays for itself.

Nashwan I've already thought about the student discount. I'm currently studying for a Bachelor's degree myself and would of course welcome this, but I'm quite unsure whether it would work as others would then have to pay for the immense costs of the AI requests. And let's be honest, students in particular probably use the Assistant excessively. That's why I think the costs are prohibitive.

This is completely against Kagi's philosophy.
