Searching with site:.TLD can sometimes yield results from sites with other TLDs.
As an example, searching for:
site:.no primus campfire frying pan yields results that look fine until result nr 13 which for me is from another domain. 
Seems to not be an issue on mobile
I use this feature extensively when I try to figure out if I can source an item within Norway.
I would expect to get results from sites that end with the specified TLD
