- Install Kagi browser extension (I am using Firefox)
- Select some text like \wsl$ on a webpage.
- Right-click and select 'Search Kagi for "\wsl$"'.
- Notice that the first result is automatically opened by accident.
Even though that wasn't the user's intent, although it is technically correct, it is unexpected and annoying.
If you write "\wsl$" (with quotes) in the search box the query won't open the first result, so \ at the start of a "Search Kagi with ..." selection/search should be escaped somehow (as quotes make it literal, and \ doesn't work to escape it).
Maybe changing the first backslash to be quoted only as in "\"\wsl$ is the right solution or the \ needs to be changed.
It's this feature: https://kagifeedback.org/d/71-im-feeling-lucky-shortcut-using-backslash-or-empty-bang
Select text like \wsl$ and click 'Search Kagi for "\wsl$"' and the Kagi search should be opened alone, not auto-opening the first result, because it's unexpected and annoying.
