New Kagi Assistant has lost the ability to parse line breaks

When entering a multi-line prompt with multiple line breaks Kagi Assistant simply parses the prompt with no line breaks and does not properly introduce spaces or other indicators of a break in text.

eg., If your prompt has a sentence that ends with a period and then a line break you'd intend it to appear like.
this.

When rendered it will be shown "like.this." instead which somewhat frequently results in "bad responses".

First observed earlier today (9/6).

Proper line break reproduction either as pasted or as entered natively.

Respecting the hotfix pushed 11 hours ago to resolve the base observations

If you wrap your multi-line text in a code block line breaks are removed from within the code block.

A1 would preserve formatting either in-or-out of the code block.

A2 (post-hotfix) correctly parses line breaks now, but within code block removes line break while preserving indentation.
Appears there's an issue with double-spacing when copy/pasting now depending on source app?

Inconsistencies between interpretation of SHIFT+RETURN or simply RETURN from text editors like Word perhaps? i've seen similar "double spacing" errors with native LLMs
