while I am using Kagi for 95% of my searches, I do find myself going back to Google when searching for prices of certain products (or simply products of a specific type (e.g. bike trailer) that are currently available for purchase in my country. Having to switch search engines is a bit annoying (especially on mobile, where the ”More” menu for sending the search on to another search engine is not available). I have tried buidling my own Lens for this, but couldn’t get anywhere close to the kind of results I get when I search "Google Shopping” (now apparently called "Products"). (I’m still trying to figure out a better way, though, so I’m not saying it’s impossible.) My point is: I think many people will have the same problem so it would be great if you could either add a Shopping lens by default, or a Shopping search item next to Images, Videos, News etc. so that it is easy to switch to shopping results.
As much as we want to avoid ads, we all do need to buy stuff from time to time, and Kagi is not helping us with that at the moment. (The ”Shopping” section that sometimes is included in Kagi search is not very helpful, as it seems to completely ignore the region setting (i.e. it always shows items available for purchase in the US).
The Web UI, via the three-dot "More"-button already provides an easy way of switching over to, for example, Google Shopping. The problem is that this button does not exist in the Mobile UI (or should I say: Mobile Web UI). It would make a huge difference if that button were available on mobile or if the the menu-bar were customizable (e.g. I never search for Pods, yet, the option is there and I see no way of removing it. I'd much rather drop it for a hopping search link.
