I have asked in Romanian this question: “If a boat crosses the Atlantic in 12 days, how many days would 12 boats take to cross the Atlantic?”. Quick Answer says 144. It is a retard.

Rudotel Hi. I'm not sure of what you're trying to accomplish with that query, but assuming you want to solve a riddle, the Assistant with the internet turned off is a more effective tool.

Quick Answer is designed to summarise search results and cite the pages used. While there may be other models better suited for answering these types of queries, that is not the primary focus of this product. Additionally, because it relies on returned results when generating answers, Quick Answer is not the most effective tool for solving riddles, as the returned pages might mislead the model.

The answer seems to heavily depend on the wording. I used DeepL to translate the question in the initial report into Romanian:
If a boat crosses the Atlantic in 12 days, how many days would 12 boats take to cross the Atlantic? -> Dacă o barcă traversează Atlanticul în 12 zile, în câte zile ar traversa Atlanticul 12 bărci?

This results in the expected answer of 12 days:

While testing, I noticed the Finnish question Jos laiva ylittää Atlantin 12 päivässä, kuinka monta päivää Atlantin ylittäminen kestäisi 12 laivalta? results in 144 days

Same for the Czech question Pokud loď přepluje Atlantik za 12 dní, kolik dní by trvalo 12 lodím přeplout Atlantik?
