Additionally, it may be helpful to round up the definition of a "day" to midnight, as opposed to using a strict 24-hour interval. For example, if a tag is set at noon for a duration of one day, then the item with the tag expires at midnight (not noon) on the following day. This approach seems more user-friendly, since it encompasses the intuitive definition of a "day."
