.. i'm saying 'expecting' as maybe I've just been blind / lucky so far using kagi, but I just noticed today that using i.e. the site:.de filter / query operator (so intending to filter on .de tld results only) does not or no longer do that and returns .com etc results as well quite far up the result list, see i.e. this query returning this:

It seems to work as expected when specifying a full domain name, i.e. like this:

When specifying / adding site:<tld> to a query I'd expect only for results of that <tld> to be returned, so site:.de should only return results on .de domains.

Can't reproduce this, I only get .de domains for this query (I tried it with multiple different regions US, Germany and International).

jbattermann mhm I'm not from the Kagi Team, so I can't directly help you with that issue. But it's really weird, that I can't reproduce it, I even tried it on us-east and us-west. And I can't think of any option on your side that could influence this behaviour.

FWIW, you can just use the kagi subdomains for different "regions", so no need for a VPN.

      For example

      https://us-east.kagi.com
      https://us-west.kagi.com
      https://europe-west.kagi.com
