The é is correctly rendered on my devices, and I'd say there is a reasonable chance that the issue lies within your setup and not Kagi. Do you happen to have another device you could test on, just to rule that out?

Also, the font of the City Name has a fallback to any sans-serif font font-family: Lufga, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif, so If you have any font without serifs on your system it should use that. (If the CSS wouldn't have specified, it still could be an issue from Kagi if some font didn't load correctly, but with that option the problem is very likely that you don't have any fonts on your system which can render an é
