A few days ago I upgraded my annual Duo + 1 Ultimate subscription to an annual Family plan. I had $10 in account credit and I had been an Annual Member since April.
The widget stated: "You have pro-rated credit which will be automatically applied to your new plan. There would be no additional charge to your payment method today."
I was curious if I would retain my Ultimate because I expected a $65 difference (obviously pro-rated) going from Annual Duo to Annual Family. However, it clearly told me I would have no charge.
So I clicked change plan and my credit card was charged $36.41 (and $10 credit applied). This did not bother me because I was expecting more, but this may bother other users when the widget said there would be no charge.
I can provide my account details to Kagi staff - David also got a screenshot of my receipt on Discord (I can send it again anytime to any Kagi staff).
The upgrade widget said there would be no charge but there was a charge. Something somewhere didn't calculate correctly (maybe didn't calculate the Ultimate plan (which did carry over with the upgrade)?).
Anyway, no change needed for my situation - I am a happy Annual Family + 1 Ultimate subscriber but I was encouraged to put in a bug report for this for others.
