When you in Kagi Maps type in a country or city, it just shows a pin
I think having the outline of the country/city highlighted is a much more intuitive way to do it.
Google Maps also does it this way

Is it? Saw that in last update but doesn't work in my side. (screenshots for "France" with both apple and Kagi layers)

I would also love to see geographic areas outlined when specifically searched for (cities, counties, states, countries, etc). It's often helpful to see where the boundaries of political/administrative divisions are.
