anotherhue Seems like it's a bug initialising the extension, if you click the settings menu and 'save settings', and then reload the page it will pick up the token. Example shown in the video. We'll work to smooth this out, thank you for reporting.
pixel Hi there, we just released a new version on the addon store today. (0.7.1) which should hopefully fix some of these cases. Please let me know if the issue is still not resolved after an update, I would also try a re-install just in-case if it does not to clear everything completely. @Mackou @nativetype
Peter A restart of Firefox seemed to help (but I'm not sure, it still seemed buggy), but now Kagi still doesn't work in incognito windows, I get the "invalid token" error.
anotherhue One other approach to try: Go to your user profile page and click the copy button next to the session link. Click on the extension icon in the toolbar and click the smaller 'group of three sliders' icon in the top right of the window. In the first field ("set your login token") replace what is there (likely obscured by dots) with the copied link. Click 'Save Settings', if you cannot see this button try scrolling down in the extension window.
Peter I could save the login token only after not allowing and then allowing the Kagi Firefox extension again in private windows. Now it seems to work. Please make this extension more reliable! I don't want to be constantly dealing with broken stuff.
