antonio Yes. It's still not working normally.

antonio Just tested and can confirm it still shows my old IP for ~1 minute after connecting to a VPN.

Can you still reproduce this?

If I toggle on and off a VPN and search ip right afterwards, it immediately updates to the new IP.
The widget should not be cached at all.

pixel Yes, I can. Using the ProtonVPN Firefox extension takes a minute or two to update (this even with a full reload of the site and searching it in a new tab. The ProtonVPN desktop app seems to only be a few seconds of delay, but still noticeable. Can provide screen recording if it'd be helpful 🙂

search "ip" -> returns my home ip
turn on the vpn
search "ip" -> still returns my home ip
search "my ip" -> returns my vpn ip
minutes later, search "ip" -> returns my vpn ip
