The "g" Kagi logo is confusing. This is a serious branding problem.

I guess some people would complain if you changed the logo because people don't like change in general. I don't mind the "g" logo. I guess another logo would be also OK. But maybe it's better to spend your resources to make other aspects of Kagi better. A logo is just a logo.

I'm all for doggo. it gives Kagi more character rather than being just a company imo. It can even add emotion if done correctly imo.

I don't mind the G at all. The orange color around the logo differentiates the tab more than enough for me. When I look at Doggo, I feel as if that dog would rather me not search at all. Little guy doesn't even look like he's that interested in playing fetch either.

Keep the 'g'. The current logo is clear, easily identifiable and works well at small scales. It's important to consider whether the suggested changes will negatively affect accessibility or possibly even violate US ADA guidelines.

Keep in mind that these logos and icons need to work equally effectively everywhere. It needs to work on very large screens, very small screens and at all different scales and in high contrast modes and inverted colour modes and greyscale modes and so on and so forth.

The g is OK. The color is critical. Pretty unique shade of yellow/orange.

I kinda like that the g is similar to google. It kinda reminds you that it's about search and exploring the web.

Also agree it's not super important.

As a Japanese speaker it's more confusing for me that you use the word for 'key' but have the symbol of a dog.

I guess I don't care about the letter but it IS definitely confusing. Most of my friends think it is the g of google (because it was!).
As long as there is no lawsuit, nobody cares, but I don't think any judge would side with Kagi on this one, which is the shame cause, when that day will come (and it will come, trust big companies on that), Kagi will appear as a counterfeit to the public instead of a legitimate competitor and challenger, which, again, is a shame.

Is it a risk worth a debate on the letter "g" ?
