The Weather App is in my optionen a lot to basic.
I have multiple Infos I would like to get:
First: Location
Second:Rain Graph and Display
Third: Multiday feature
Fourth: Cloudiness feature
Fifth: Long forcast
Sixed: Interactive Graph
Seven: Local Warnings
Eight: Icon in Search all the time
First:
I need to be able to pinpoint my exact location. In the hilly area where I live, the weather varies every few miles. Therefore, it's crucial for me to set my precise location. I understand that you may not want to track this, but I'd rather share my location with the weather app than receive inaccurate information.
Second:
I need more detailed information on the amount and percentage of rain. While some people might also want this for wind, I only care about sun, temperature, and rain.
Third:
I need the ability to view multiple days or click through them. Ideally, a 7-day forecast would be best, but I could settle for 5 days. I usually plan the upcoming weekend at the beginning of the week, so a 7-day forecast would be ideal. Additionally, I use it to plan business travel for the following week.
Fourth:
Please add cloudiness to the temperature graph. I want to see that although it will be 28°C this afternoon, the sun will be behind clouds. I find this very useful. Perhaps include a switch to toggle between Temp/Cloud and Temp/Rain.
Fifth:
When planning trips and meetups with friends, I would like to see further into the future. I understand this is less accurate, but it would help me see, for example, if the rain might stop in two weeks, making a BBQ planned for three weeks later feasible. This could be a simple popup or a graph with daily points or just numbers.
Sixth:
I would appreciate being able to interact with the graph more. I don't need the temperature value displayed all the time; let me select it with the mouse. This would make the graph cleaner and allow updates specific to the mouse location.
Seventh:
Display local weather warnings. This would be very helpful as I often only get this information when my phone alerts me. I would love it if the weather feature, which I use very often, provided these warnings directly.
Eighth:
I would like to see a small weather icon in every search window. This icon should show the temperature, weather conditions, and any weather warnings. This would help me avoid surprises, like finding out it's raining unexpectedly. If I notice the weather changing from what I expected, I can check the larger weather widget for more details.
