Instructions to set Kagi as default on Chrome don't seem to be valid anymore

I was just checking the instructions at this page https://help.kagi.com/kagi/getting-started/setting-default.html#chromium_desktop

in particular the screenshot:

following the instructions on Chrome 125.0.6422.77 (Official Build) (arm64) doesn't make the above to appear, but I get this instead:

Kagi is only present in Site Search and not in alternative search engines.

For this reason it's not possible to customise the Search Engine in latest Chrome.

I don't know why Chrome makes this distinction, but you can set it as default from "Site Search" and it goes to "Search Engines"

johen it doesn't work for me. Once I've added Kagi to Site Search, the "Make Default" is unavailable / grayed out:

Wait! My bad about the disabled entry in the menu, it looks like I forgot to add &q=%s at the end. I must admit it's easy to overlook this, since I simply copy-pasted the url+token from my settings and I assumed it was correct.

by the way, even with Kagi as default, the search results appear from DuckDuckGo, in Chrome, not in Kagi
