IMO I like that Kagi avoids getting involved in culture wars and other similar things, and I suggested it because Grok is a good model. I get the whole thing about not wanting to support someone you don't like, but then just don't use it and then xAI wont get any API fees and allow people who like the model to use it. I am not willing to die on this hill, but it would be a really nice add. On another note, I recently got access to Perplexity Pro and I noticed that it included Grok 2, I don't know the API costs but I imagine they can't be that high if Perplexity is willing to add it as an option. According to their blog post (https://x.ai/blog/api) they are adding image support next week into their api so it should be able to fit perfectly with the other options built into Kagi. If the API includes Grok 2 Mini, that might be a nice option in the event quick answer gets LLM options in settings.
