Ideally, it should summarize as normal. However, it would be nice if Kagi's error messages were more clear. Was this an SSL error on your backend? (I seem to get that when I curl on a remote machine). Did text extraction fail? Did the document download fail?
The summarizer frequently fails and it's never quite clear why. I typically don't bother making bug reports because it's so vague and I am lazy.
