Broken "View Image" "Download" and "Visit Page" buttons in Image search

it's only possible to click on the buttons when hovering over the edges of the buttons:

behaviour can slightly change depending on the width of the window:

I'd expect to be able to click on hover over the whole button region.

"View Image", "Download", and "Visit Page" are broken for me as well. They activate correctly for me but do nothing on click, perhaps because of an "Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: Invalid encoded image data. " exception?

An important observation:

When you click the buttons, a Kagi script logs the HTML DOM <span> element. Except if you click the external link-icon on the button. Then you get the <svg> element in the log.

This seems like a developer's beta project, that's accidentally been pushed to production.
