Recently Adobe announced https://projectneo.adobe.com/ and folks are referring to it frequently as "SDF" or "SDFs". Even though I knew to search for "signed distance field" as a result to do some more research, I was surprised to see the results that were immediately given when searching for SDF, SDFs, etc.
Initial results were a bit surprising to me:
- Syrian Democratic Forces
- Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport
- State defense force
- And many other similarly interesting, but not related results
This got me to thinking that it would be really nice to have a very readily available option that would filter out a lot or most of the mainstream / most used references for things and to isolate results to tech or science more readily - most specifically, I think it would be really helpful to be able to toggle off political and socially facing topics.
I don't know if lens is really the appropriate or best way to handle such a situation as it seems that this might be a bit more involved or require more robust filtration functionality.
I envision a "filters" or "priorities" option in the actual UI that would allow a user to use Kagi generally with certain filtrations in place continually and readily visible to toggle on and off. Personally I would likely always use Kagi with such a filter on since 99% of my searches revolve around research and finding information that pertains to non-socially related topics.
