I doubt I can upload it appearing in the Kagi results here but will if needed. I'm making Anki cards with pictures to retain vocabulary and searched purportedly on Kagi for one then clicked Images. A photo included was of a stabbed dead woman. It's an innocuous term so to open this report I clicked to see the title for why that came up and it was a news article, something about a Nigerian woman purportedly being slashed by her husband. I'd really prefer to have firm control over that happening but I am not sure of any options to prevent it before seeing it since this is a random source: https://iqsaavy.blogspot.com/2024/05/a-nigerian-spouse-has-purportedly.html
I searched the term again and it did not come back up (and other images related to terrorists about to behead or torture captives got pushed further down the page, although most of these are from respected news sources). I searched again and it did come up further down the page. The amount of traumatic imagery for a word that doesn't indicate I want to see it and Safe Search enabled for search and Images was offputting, especially because I can't always replicate it with the same actions.
To prevent pictures of e.g. injured or dead people and wartime terror from international news results when searching innocuous terms with both Safe Search options on and my region set locally, even if the terms appear in article titles.
