Add a betatest program

The theme switch broke a lot of things and it looks like been reverted. It was a significant annoyance for something semi-critical like a search engine (I personally had to use Google the entire time because I did not have time to sort out the CSS issues). Allowing users to opt into beta testing these features (separate from Ultimate's concept of beta testing) before they roll out to other users would be a wiser approach. Proton does this and it works out pretty well. It's also fairly common in open-source where people run off the master branch to work out the kinks before new releases are made.

Nothing has been reverted, but we have already rolled out many fixes. If you find anything else wrong, please do open a ticket with screenshots and browser details, and we'll have it fixed ASAP 😃

Lastly, I do apologize about the rollout handling. It is not what we wanted either, but due to some internal missteps and time constraints, we had to push forward or risk delaying other things. For any future shakeups in design, we'll definitely focus on users being able to A/B it as a top priority.

A/B testing opts people into the beta program who might not want to be, and doesn't opt in people who enjoy that sort of thing. A true beta program would probably make both the A‘s and the B‘s happier by letting them choose which group they get to be in.
