Today you asked if we had any ideas what more you could offer to Ultimate users.
I think that adding some statistics how many times the owner's website was included in the search results would be interesting, and should not bring too much cost to you, as it could be handled all internally.
The idea is that as a domain owner I could
- add it to a list of my domains,
- verify ownership with .well-known or DNS TXT entry (file or DNS entry would have to stay to keep proving ownership)
- Kagi would collect anonymous data how many times my domain was included in search results (but not necessarily clicked)
- as the domain owner I could see fancy graphs over time
The only data would be amount of displays, unique per user per day (we would not be able to get information which user, and since it is per day that data would be unlinked from the user after 24 hours, and user could opt out or opt in into that). For starters you could only include global total, later you could add it per region or country, depending how much intruding it would be for privacy.
