Background
OS: macOS 10.13.6
Browser: Firefox 115.8.0esr
Kagi region: United States (probably)
Kagi server: US-WEST (probably)
Steps to reproduce
- Use Kagi while logged in normally.
- At some point, Kagi will suggest you are logged out and will direct you to https://kagi.com/signin.
- Fill the email & password fields and press "Login".
In my experience, step 2 can happen even just a few minutes after making a successful search on Kagi.
Actual result
The POST /login
call errors with HTTP 403.
An instance of the "x-request-id" response header for one of these errored requests is x-request-id: b46bbb7e26128fd6091866e39ea6498b
.
Expected result
Either of these might be expected:
- Kagi does not lose track of my login.
- The
POST /login
call succeeds with HTTP 200. A normal Kagi home page is shown.
Workarounds
Looks like if I clear my _kagi_search_
and kagi_session
cookies then it fixes the issue.
