I too would love to see this, as I'm coming from Google using Grepper.

yea if you are in europe, our provider for these tends to have degraded performance in that area, so we may not decide to wait for them.
I wouldn't mind a dynamic load on the sidebar or inline results using some kind of skeleton loader so that the results aren't impeded by a slow response for us EU folk. This could even be a feature toggle disabled by default for non-developers.
