Image search doesn't work as intended IMO

Say I want to do a reverse search for the image currently stored in this URL:
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/c5/Canary_Wharf_from_Limehouse_London_June_2016_HDR.jpg/1920px-Canary_Wharf_from_Limehouse_London_June_2016_HDR.jpg

I will get no results searching it by URL:

By extension (no pun intended), this also applies to the browser extension image search feature:

It does however work if I paste/upload an image directly, like so:

Most likely the image at the URL is not accessible to our server.

Vlad no the reverse image search via URL has been broken for quite a while it basically just does a normal search for the URL, but not the image. I can't find them currently, but there have already been some reports on kagifeedback.

I've been using kagi since ₁/2 a year and it never worked once with a URL, only when uploading.

It's a Wikimedia Commons image; it requires no special access. This has happened to me with all the URLs I try
