Claude 3 Opus is very talky

I don't know maybe this is just how the model is, but it seems a bit too talky.

I just asked it "what day is it?" (after I read the other claude 3 opus issue https://kagifeedback.org/d/3433-claude-3-opus-response-issue)

And it wrote the following:

Seems to be an issue with your System Prompt, I created a custom assistant with a system prompt that only contains a space, and it does not produce this weird output:

I've been seeing similar behavior. It seems to really like telling me the date and telling me about how it's formatting its response with LaTeX and markdown.

TheBOT FWIW I just created a custom assistant with a system prompt that only contains a space (empty system prompts are not allowed 🤷‍♂️ ) and it works without problems. The system prompt that kagi provides just seems to be the problem.
