Prevent resubmission of queries when interacting with previous assistant threads

If I use the assistant to ask in chat mode "best songs of u2" it generates this link:

https://kagi.com/assistant?q=best+songs+of+u2&mode=4&sub_mode=2&thread=7Dl67Jk1WS0qLsNWC8uqmoaIVfl4UbJ5.

However, if I save the link in a notes app or bookmark and then reopen it, it resends the query every time I visit it again because the link always includes the "q" variable.

The way I avoid that is to save the link only with the variable "thread" and it looks like this:

https://kagi.com/assistant?thread=7Dl67Jk1WS0qLsNWC8uqmoaIVfl4UbJ5

With that link it works perfect, only that I have to do the manual editing every time.

It would be ideal that somehow Kagi would understand when the link is being revised to continue with the conversation and not to send a query again.

Camilo For clarification and a little more digging on my end: this only happens when I use bangs or keyboard shortcuts. If I go to the assistant page first or if I go to the assistant from search mode but by clicking on the icon, the "q" variable is not added.
