Hi Kagi!

First of all, thank you for the hard work you've been putting in Kagi, I really like it! Kagi Translate is also awesome!

This morning, I searched on Kagi for how to shutdown a mac using the command line. So I searched for "macOS shutdown using command line". Nothing came up:

I was surprised, so I tried a few things, and I think it's a real bug:

"macOS shutdown using command line" always returns "no result"
"macOS2 shutdown using command line" does return results
"macOS shutdown using command line?" does too

So it looks like the specific search query "macOS shutdown using command line" leads to a bug.

I'll retry it later to see if it's a temporary bug.

I was expecting for results 🙂

I don't know what's actually happening but when looking for Allan boff Whalley I get no results.
If I search for Allan Boff Whalley (that is the same query with uppercase b) results are what I expect

Looking up people names, especially with a nickname in the middle, should be case insensitive

Hi, can you confirm this is still an issue? I get results just fine using that link. This might have just been an instance of #3387. I'll merge if so.

I searched for "a walk in the woods" by Bill Bryson and saw there was an audiobook. A bit later I went back to find the page again and searched "a walk in the woods audiobook" which yielded no results (image 1). Strangely, if you just search "a walk in the woods audio" multiple results appear containing exactly the exact string "a walk in the woods audiobook" (image 2). Finally, if you search "a walk in the woods by bill bryson audiobook", that works just fine as well.

I expected adding "audiobook" to the query to return results that matched the audiobook version of the book. I definitely didnt expect it to return nothing

Can you try it again? It works just fine for me (even if I enable the USA region)

It is working now. Nothing changed other than some time passing. Maybe it was something cached?

I searched Kagi for "cocoa caffeine". I got zero results.

I expected to have at least some results, given that

If you mistype a word in that request, Kagi is eager to offer you corrected version which leads to nothing
If you search for "cocoa caffeine content" then there are lots of results.

I used no lenses or filters, it was as broad search as possible.

Out of curiosity, what location did you search from? I'm searching from the UK (set to United Kingdom (GB)) and get lots of result. Search link here.

The issue has fixed itself apparently, or maybe Kagi stepped in quickly. Who's to know now.

There is no possible way that searching "electric cooler" yields absolutely nothing. Clearly a bug. Yields results in other search types (images, videos, etc.)

....find results for electric coolers....

krenn This isn't happening on my side with the UK, US, International Region.

I would suggest trying again to see if it works.
