Website does not show up in relevant search despite being pinned

In the past, I've noticed that when I search for movies, letterboxd's website never comes up on the first page. So I pinned it to fix that. However, it seems that this doesn't help.

To replicate, search for any of the following queries
(a) "drive my car" movie
(b) "drive my car"
(c) drive my car movie
(d) drive my car
(e) "drive my car" letterboxd

for (a), (b), and (c) the result from letterboxd does not appear.

for (d) it appears, but only on the second page.

for (e) and any other searches that include the website's name in the search it appears as the first search result.

Expected behavior:

1) If a movie website is pinned, it would ideally show on the first page of results when searching for a movie.
2) If a pinned website used the search term in question, it should appear instead of ending the search results without ever showing the website.

I noticed that letterboxd was among the top pinned sites, so I thought I would check on this issue again. Looks like it has been a year!

For an apples to apples comparison I ran the exact same searches as above:

(a) "drive my car" movie 🥳
Feb 2024: letterboxd was not a result 😢
Today: letterboxd was top result 🥳

(b) "drive my car" 🤨
Feb 2024: letterboxd was not a result 😢
Today: letterboxd was first result on second page 🤨

(d) drive my car 🥳
Feb 2024: letterboxd was first result on second page 🤨
Today: letterboxd was top result 🥳

(e) "drive my car" letterboxd 🥳
Feb 2024: letterboxd was top result 🥳
Today: letterboxd was top result 🥳

Definite improvement, despite weird ones like (c) still struggling. It makes sense to me if just the title doesn't work, but I would hope that adding 'movie' clears up the ambiguity especially as the search engine only returns results based on the movie on the first page. (As a thought, I just checked and "drive my car film" (no quotes in search prompt) leads to letterboxd as the top result!)

I have the exact same issue and it's pretty annoying. I have pinned letterboxd and most of the times I search for a movie I never see the letterboxd link on the search results, unless I specifically search for "movie title letterboxd"

Another example, I've pinned Eldenpedia but searching "sword of night and flame" does not show me this https://eldenring.wiki.gg/wiki/Sword_of_Night_and_Flame page at all
