Right now, if you shrink the search window horizontally, you can't get too close to phone screen width before you see scrollbars. As someone who likes to have a slim search window on the side of the screen in some cases, I would prefer if there weren't scrollbars. The mobile ui would be acceptable in this case, and so would just removing padding and squishing text content. Scrollbars are not fun. This could be achieved with custom css, but it would be somewhat brittle.
