Sadly, I can't. The results have changed, the (even at the time of writing the original post already pretty old) Update 4.3 is not in the first page of results anymore, and when going to the "page" (=Load More Results in Kagi) containing it, the description is completely different.
I can pretty much guarantee that my search settings were set to "International", however, since that is what I always use, except when explicitly searching for local news or information, which a video games is not.
But since you have linked to a better explanation than "we are using AI where we did not disclose it", I am now following that thread and you can close this one. Please continue protecting us users from all that generated slop as best you can! It's almost never useful.
Since you say you can't fully control what appears in the snippets, I might try using Kagi with snippets toggled off completely for a while.
