This affects the "Research Assistant" with variant "Expert". Code, Chat and "Fast" doesn't suffer from this because they respond before the loader would go away (I assume).
If the assistant require more than 1-3 "animation cycles" to respond, the loader goes away. The query might take 10 seconds and, without visual feedback, I assume something is broken and try again. After some trial and error I realize it's only a graphical bug.
I've tested this my phone:
Android+Fennec
Android+Vivaldi
and three different PCs with:
Linux+Firefox
Linux+Vivaldi
Linux+Chrome (freshly installed, no modifications)
Windows+Edge (fresly installed, no modifications)
The loader should repeat until the assistant begins to respond to avoid confusion.
