+1 to this issue. I’ve also noticed that many dates shown in search results don’t seem to be useful or relevant to the page content.
For example, I’ve seen pages like the PGA Tour’s X.com page showing a date of March 15, 2013, and the CBS Sports PGA Tour Schedule page showing February 28, 2009 (search term is 'pga tour'), even though those dates don’t appear on the pages themselves and don’t represent meaningful dates.
I’d prefer dates only be displayed when Kagi can identify a clear, relevant date from the page itself (such as an article publication date or last updated date). For general pages, documentation, schedules, profiles, etc., an inferred date often adds confusion rather than useful context.
