Custom Lens filter bug: "Yesterday" checkbox not working

I created a custom "News" lens as I did not like the un-editable selection of sources included in the 'default' news lens.

I entered 7 of my preferred news sources, then selected the "news" style display, and the "Yesterday" time filter and saved the lens. After doing a test search, and selecting my new news lens, the search includes results from months ago. I tried using the in-search filters to constrain to the last 24 hours, but that filtered out many results that were previously displaying from only a few hours ago (and only returned results from one of the sources).

At least the default results using a lens with 'yesterday' set in the configuration should only display results up to 48 hours old.

It is possible to replicate this issue with the default "News 360" lens as well. For instance here are the settings on the default news lens:

You can see the 'Yesterday' selection is checked.

Then I verify that the "News 360" lens is enabled and run a search for a recent news story:

In the first 6 results, only one is from yesterday ("1 day ago") or newer. 2 results are older than 3 days ago.

Not many of those results have time tags less than 24 hours, so I'll do another search. Several results across 3 sources are tagged less than 24 hours:

If I set the time filter to "Past 24 hours", only one source appears in the results:

Although some of the less than 24 hours old tagged stories from that source are reflected in the filtered results, some are not, for instance "Biden endorsed by United Auto Workers...", and "Heavy rains soak Texas and close schools...."
