Kagi.com unusuable in all regions

I can't even get to kagi.com, gives me a HTTP 500. Also, about half hour earlier, the site was up but all search results were reporting a white screen. Tried this on two different machines, on different networks and also on different browsers.

The status page says everything is running.

Beatrix Hi! According to the admins (via Discord), the status page is fully manual, and does not ping the endpoints or anything like that. They're working to get the endpoints up first as a priority.

I don't have them on Discord as I just signed up a few weeks back, but it's interesting that anything going through kagi.com is not working, even the link to their Discord. But status.kagi.com is working. It makes me think it's something with their DNS settings or provider, maybe.

happinessattack Unfortunately, that makes the status page ad absurdum, since it doesn’t reflect the actual state.

I can fully understand that they try to use all resources to fix the issue but it shouldn’t take much longer than a couple of minutes for a single person to update the status page. Just a "We have an issue and are working on it" would be just fine.

KittMedia Agreed. Some sell-hosted status pages will at minimum do a ping check for automatic up/down reports. I can understand the details being manual, but if someone at Kagi is getting an alert, and the status really is "down", shouldn't the customers know as well?
