Currently, Kagi Maps is very car-centric and only gives Driving or Walking directions.
This currently makes it unusable where I live in Tokyo, where public transit like Trains and Buses are the main mode of transportation.
Based on how I expect it to work from similar competing products, being able to get predictable schedules and directions for the trains and buses should be a decent start.
Ideally, you'd be able to alter some legs of the route mid-journey (e.g. swap to a different train line with similar duration, or maybe you missed the current train so you can swap to the next available one).
