  • Clicking on any gift amount on the 'Gift Kagi subscription' page redirects to the main page

I have a trial account and I would like to gift Kagi to friends. So I tried following the documentation at https://help.kagi.com/kagi/plans/gift-kagi.html

Problem 1: I have no 'Gifts' tab in Settings.

Problem 2: After going manually to https://kagi.com/settings?p=gift and clicking on any 'Gift amount', I'm redirected to the main page https://kagi.com/

It's possible that gifts are only available to paying accounts, if so, please update the documentation.

I expected the 2nd image from the documentation to appear https://help.kagi.com/kagi/plans/gift-kagi.html (the one where you enter credit card details 🙂 )

    Hi vankusss ,

    Correct, currently we require you to have an active subscription to purchase gifts. I've pushed a clarifying note to our docs, and with our next rollout you won't be able to load the gifts page unless you are eligible.
