I created an iOS homepage shortcut to Kagi Chat. When I try to use it, however, it redirects to Research after hitting enter.
- In iOS Safari, navigate to
https://kagi.com/?m=assistant&mode=4&sub_mode=1
- Tap the share sheet, then add to home screen
- Close the tab
- Go to the home screen and tap the new icon you created
- Observe that it launched to Kagi chat, and that "Chat" is indeed selected (not "Research")
- Submit a query
- Observe that Kagi switched over to Research instead of using Chat
Kagi should have stayed on Chat after opening the shortcut when executing my query.
