Unacceptable latency

I search and it takes 10 seconds to respond.
Google, which is free, responds much faster.
Overall experience is better with Google for this reason.

@OwenBrown for what query? Can you share a video of a search taking 10s? And what is the latency to google cloud? You can easily see this by pressing on the settings icon on https://kagi.com, which opens a sidebar on the right, which then shows your "status".
Also, you forgot to add more information to your bug report, like Browser, OS, server region,...
