\query and query ! do not open in new tab when this setting is selected

Issue: The auto open first result kb shortcuts (\query and query !) do not open in a new tab

Reproduce: Select "open links in new tab" setting. Type query ! or \query.

Expected: The first found result to open in a new tab.

Currently: Opens in the same tab.

Unfortunately this is not possible due to browser restrictions. It would require JavaScript to automatically open new tabs, which would require users granting our site "permission to open pop-ups". In some browsers, you won't even get a notifcation for this, it will just silently fail, and it would also likely be blocked by user's browser extensions (adblock).

Since we are not capable of ensuring a good UX here - and you can imagine what people would say if their browser told them "pop up blocked" from us 😃 - this will be a nofix.
