Translate to region language / never translate the same language to the same language

When searching for translate newspaper with region set to germany it will translate English to English, probably because my language is set to english.

That it translates to german, if the input language is not german. E.g. translate zeitung is correct and shows German → English as my language is set to english. But it should not translate the same language to the same language.

Value7609 currently translate works in a way that translate whatever word into english. If you want to translate word to german you would enter something like

translate newspaper to german

mhm okay TIL, though it would be more intuitive if it would use the region and/or language as an "input" to know which language might be the "intended" one to translate to.
